My name is Vicki, and I have been a jewelry designer for over twenty years, professionally trained with multiple certifications from the Gemological Institute of America, including Graduate Gemologist (that's a diamond grader).

My jewelry is wire wrapped beaded jewelry. It is not traditional wire wrapping and it is certainly not traditional bead stringing. In my experience, besides my style as a whole, what truly sets me apart from other artists is that I use only gemstones in my work. You will not find glass, crystal, plastic, clay, fossil, and so in, anywhere. Common semiprecious gemstones that are well known might be turquoise or agate or onyx, and uncommon ones might be chrysophrase or larvikite. Organic semiprecious, pearls and coral, are also throughout my work. Lastly, I also use all the precious gemstones: diamonds, rubies, emeralds, and sapphires. These are actual stones with holes in them, not stones set in metal. Speaking of metals, here again I only use precious: sterling silver, 14k (and higher) gold, and platinum. There is no plated, there is no filled. In fact I have a variety of sterling grade silver from around the world.

Other things I do are:
* Custom jewelry. You tell me what you're looking for and I'll make it if I can. Historically, you would start with color, say black and pink, or maybe you would be very specific with gemstones. I've even had people specify bead shapes first, then color. Then I'd make some mock ups and share them, or their photo's, with you. You would say what you like or don't like, and we'd keep going, fine tuning the piece until you say it's perfect.

* Repair beaded jewelry.

* Repurposing. This is my favorite. I can take your beaded jewelry, typically their broken or out of style, and make brand new pieces with them. Maybe I'll add new beads to it, you and I would decide together.

Besides this page, my husband put up a web page that I use to help jury for new shows. There are some photos there of my work, which are typically some of the newer pieces I've made. That page is here.
